Citizens May Be Eligible for Time Warner Settlement Claim

6/20/08 — A class-action lawsuit against Time Warner Cable for allegedly selling subscribers' personal information in the 1990s for marketing purposes is coming to a close.

Under a proposed settlement that will resolve the lawsuit, Hillsborough citizens may be eligible to receive one month of free cable service or $5 if they were served by Time Warner between Jan. 1, 1994, and Dec. 31, 1998.

Claim forms may be downloaded at www.twcsettlement.com. They must be postmarked by March 10, 2009.
