Mission Statement "To provide effective and efficient management of the wastewater treatment process to ensure the plant is operated in an environmentally responsible manner so as to ensure that the treated effluent released by the plant into the Eno River meets or exceeds all standards established by the State of North Carolina."

The Town’s Wastewater Treatment Plant treats wastewater to meet state regulations before replacing it into the Eno River. The plant also assures the safe disposal of sludge via the Sludge Recycling Program.
