"To provide effective and efficient management of the water and sewer utilities system, which is responsive to customer needs and environmental concerns."

The Town Engineer is charged with ensuring that Hillsborough complies with state codes and regulations for water and wastewater operations. The Engineer plans, designs, and implements repairs and improvements to the water and wastewater systems. He also receives inquiries from developers regarding water and sewer availability.
